Outreach and Reachout

Coming off an energizing clubhouse national conference. Scott, Ann and Darby learned about outreach vs reachout.

Reachout is calling a member who we haven’t seen in awhile. It’s often most effective to have a friend of the member reachout and make contact. It’s always nice to have a familiar voice on the phone for members to realize they’re needed.

Outreach is making contact with a referring agency, making presentations at a support group, or otherwise going out in the community to let the public know about our clubhouse.
