Seacoast Pathways is partnering with Willows Run. The event is for a 5 K race/walk for an annual and charitable cause. It will be held on the grounds of Coe Brown Northwood Academy, Northwood, NH on July 15. Last year Seacoast Pathways raised $10,000 by selling raffle tickets and obtaining sponsors for the 5k walk/run. Willow’s Run was established to recognize the day- to- day challenges facing those with mental health issues, even contemplating suicide.
Willow was the cousin of Jamie and Kim who decided to hold this race/walk in her memory and to make others aware they can have a positive effect by contributing their time, effort and raising funds to implement safeguards for those struggling with mental illness. We all know what suicide can do to the family, friends and community of the individuals that took their own lives. The heartbreak it brings to those around them is indescribable.
We want to erase the stigma of this disease. Seacoast Pathways is requesting members of the community to make a donation to this worthy cause such as gift cards, art, services, toys, or whatever you feel will benefit this endeavor.
All raffle prizes must be donated by Friday April 28th . You will receive a tax- deductible receipt.
Raffle tickets will be available after May 1st online at www.rallyup.com. Ticket value will be from $1.00 to $20.00 depending on the prize value.
All contributions will be allocated to suicide prevention programs at Coe Brown Academy and other community partners who provide suicide prevention services and mental health recovery to many people.
Come and be part of this annual event that so many will be participating in. Please contact the clubhouse at 812 9031. Ask for Joe or Scott or email email@example.com
